Osceola Arts in Kissimmee has invited the Florida Sculptors Guild back with ARTplay a fun summer exhibition on display from June 9 through August 6.
As artists know, play can be an integral part of the creative process. As the world recovers from the events of the past few years, we invite you to escape reality and enter a world of colorful excitement and contemporary Art! The Florida Sculptors Guild, together with Osceola Arts, presents ArtPlay, an exhibit that emphasizes the need for play in our lives.
Enjoy works created by members of the Florida Sculptors Guild at Osceola Arts from June 6 through August 6.
A free and open-to-the-public “meet the artists” art reception will be held on Saturday, June 10 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Osceola Arts exhibitions are always free and open to the public.

Painter Deborah B. Smith's artwork titled "Tree at Islamorada Key" will be on exhibit at the “Water Works” exhibition held in the SOBO Gallery and Art Center. Artist Deborah B. Smith has been selected to exhibit two of her Impressionistic musical-themed paintings at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center. Festival and Cherished Music will be on exhibit from August 1, 2019 - January 15. 2020.
This is a beautiful venue in the heart of downtown Sanford highlighting art, both performing and visual. It has an incredible historic atmosphere. The theater invites artists to display pieces in their gallery to be viewed by thousands of theater patrons. The pieces will be available for purchase as well.

Artist Deborah B. Smith received 2nd place for Adults 3-D Sculpture at the Earth Day event at the Casselberry Art House in Casselberry Florida.on April 29, 2015. Smith's sculpture titled Clown Fish met the criteria of earth friendly art and recycling. Clown Fish is a unique sculpture made of recycled paintings and found objects. The dramatic colors and whimsical appearance drew the attention of many spectators.

Smith's painting titled Broken Vessel is truly a well executed piece of art. Her techniques for portraying glowing light emitting from a broken jar are skillfully crafted. Smith's command of the acrylic medium are evident in her approach of creating the play of dark and light contrasts. Broken Vessel is a thought provoking and a compelling piece of art..

Artist Deborah B. Smith receives the Judges Choice Award at the Sanford Welcome Center's Olde Florida exhibition on March 27,2015.
Smith's painting titled Lone Palm depicts a single palm tree in the Florida wild. It exemplifies the vintage Florida landscape and iconic palms that grace the wild unspoiled land.
