Description
This painting was inspired shortly after the passing of my dad in 2019. He was not an army soldier as the painting depicts but a proud Marine who served in the Korean War. He received military honors at his funeral and I was so moved by the respect that was given to him and the emotional presenting of the flag to my mom. I hope that all those who have served in the military are given the honor and respect they deserve. God bless our troops and veterans. Many have given their lives for our freedoms. We can give respect in return.
